Last month I had a chance to meet Kirk Franklin. On the way to the event I was pondering what is the one selfish question I can ask him. That question not relevant to gospel music, but something beneficial to me and my audience. I am grateful for the personal and entrepreneurial growth through the years yet developing a team has been one of the most challenging hurdles I’ve experienced. I know the only way I can grow into this vision is by continuous faith, consistency, and teamwork.
In this episode you’ll learn:
- Transparency
- Communication
- Risk Taking

I appreciate everything you’ve done. I think you are a musical genius. You’ve worked with artist from different genres, multiple choirs; how do you create a good team and motivate that team through each project?
Kirk Franklin: By trying to be transparent and non trying to act like I have all the answers. Finding people willing to go through the journey with me. I appreciate people that ride with me and take a chance. A lot of it is risk tasking.
